My State, My Life
If only I have enough money, I'd love to have a house furnished to my taste in the center of this beautiful state. Life here is stressful, wonderful and at the same time,it's encouraging.
Its every day life involves hustle and bustle, traffic, meeting different kind of people, discovery of new places and also love could be included. This beautiful state is one of my favorite places in the world,no matter where i go,i yarn for home despite the stress and the day to day activities. It's the best place to work, hustle and tour,it's multicultural and bilingual, you meet different tribes, see colorful people and places and its the home of mouth watering dishes. Lagos state is arguably the most important state of the country, having the nation's largest urban area. Its located in the south-western part of the country;Nigeria. In the north and east, its bounded by Ogun state, shares boundaries with Benin republic in the west and behind her southern borders lies the Atlantic ocean. 22% of her 3,577km are lagoons and creeks. Weekends are never dry in lasgidi as the youths call her, there's always a party either weddings, birthday parties or naming ceremony.
There are loads of bars, clubs, sports centers and even hotels for tourist and visitors. As a young lady,im never to be found in some places but despite this,i catch fun, visit friends on the island and around the mainland. Lagos is a colorful state filled with love for both indigenes and visitors, nobody visits lasgidi and not want to come again even when i leave home for school or i travel,my mind gets back home before my feets try to move.
Lagos taught me survival skills and for that im forever grateful, encouraged me,i found and lost love here, got my heart broken and had healed my broken heart. I can survive in any state or country out there because Lagos taught me and i learnt my lessons well. I'm in love with Lagos state. My state,my life.
